Let’s be honest folks, anyone who is in a relationship, or even just a friendship, has faced that annoying, monotonous and enduring agony of choosing a film with a loved one or a mate right? Some people love a 'rom-com'; others love a 'horror flick' - and don’t forget the arty kind of human who love an 'avant-garde special'. So how do you get around this deeply concerning escapade? Well, we believe we have found the solution… Let’s set the scene... you’re in a huge, nationwide food store with your other half or friend or a person you watch a film with. You're laughing and joking around until - out of nowhere - an argument erupts. One of you wants Frozen and the other would like The Exorcist – but we all know it’ll probably end up being The Break-Up. So, with this dilemma in mind, what normally happens? You waste a lot of time.
Well, not anymore folks! Introducing… Cineroom’s “5 & 1 Method” … We have developed this method to make the debate become a 'healthy-relationship exercise'. We call it the “5 & 1 Method” for a specific reason. Here is what you do... Firstly, one person takes the lead and chooses five films they would like to watch - this can then be alternated each time you want to watch a film. Once the five are chosen, the person gives the films to the fellow debater for their input and to choose which one they would like to watch. This method makes both parties happy. Both make choices and both know they want to watch that specific film. It saves time going through every movie together in the charts, and most importantly, it doesn’t cause an argument. So now when you go to a film store, a supermarket or wherever you get your DVDs from (it even works for online use!), you know exactly what method to use. You can leave the shop with a brand new ‘agreed’ DVD to watch, and more importantly, you’ll still be in a relationship or have a friend to watch it with. You’re welcome. Leave a Reply. |
