DA 5 BLOODS

Four African American vets battle the forces of man and nature when they return to Vietnam seeking the remains of their fallen Squad Leader and the gold fortune he helped them hide.
Spike Lee, the main man is back. He just doesn’t do bad films. His last effort with BlacKkKlansman was a masterpiece, and hopes are high for Da 5 Bloods.
FATHER SOLDIER SON
Directors: Leslye Davis, Catrin Einhorn
Star: Brian Eisch
When Sgt. First Class Brian Eisch is critically wounded in Afghanistan, it sets him and his sons on a journey of love, loss, redemption and legacy.
A touching documentary that has back drop of the military, but it’s a lot closer to home in themes. This is a poignant but important watch.

Stars: Ana de Armas, Penélope Cruz, Wagner Moura
The story of five Cuban political prisoners who had been imprisoned by the United States since the late 1990s on charges of espionage and murder.
We caught this thriller back in September at the Venice Film Festival when it received a mixed bag of reviews, but we found it more than watchable for the run time. Plus, Ana de Armas and Penélope Cruz star… so…
