![]() Episode twenty-one of our news feature has arrived. Take a seat on the front row of the Cineroom theatre to receive the latest news that is happening in the world of film. In this episode we have an update on the Fantastic Beasts franchise, we have the final Rogue One trailer, we have the glorious Free Fire posters to show you and all the current goings-on with the live-action Mulan movie. Closing the episode will be a first look at Amber Heard in the Justice League film… Fantastic Beasts will go on and on and on. J. K. Rowling has this week decided to expand the Potter universe and make loads of money for Warner Bros. The magical author confirmed yesterday that Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them will spawn four movies now making the franchise a 5-movie saga. The original plan was a trilogy but clearly that’s not enough time to tell the story, unless it’s about the £££. Rowling was speaking at an event for the film held in London and confirmed that she has figured out the stories for all five and will be the screenwriter for the foreseeable future. The first film will see Eddie Redmayne's Newt Scamander coming to New York in the 1920s and, thanks to a mishap with his magical case, accidentally unleashing a horde of creatures upon the city. Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them will be out on 18 November. Final Rogue One Trailer! The wait is nearly over. We had the posters, the teasers and now it’s the final trailer time. With just two months until Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is released, we have an epic final trailer to get our teeth into. We get a first real look at Mads Mikkelsen as Galen Erso who is seen in flashback which gives a better idea of how he will fit into the story. Felicity Jones stars as rebel leader Jyn Erso, charged with stealing the plans for the Death Star from the Empire. Joining Jyn in the fight are Diego Luna, Alan Tudyk, Forest Whitaker and Riz Ahmed as Bodhi Rook. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will be directed by Brit Gareth Edwards and is released on 16th December. Free Fire Posters! Ben Wheatley’s Free Fire will be closing the 60th London Film Festival on Sunday but that’s not what we are reporting on today. We just had to show you some of the posters for the characters in the movie. They are like vintage, western, wanted posters that must be seen to be believed. Check them out below. Free Fire is set in Boston in 1978. The story charts the fallout from a gun-running hook-up orchestrated by Brie Larson in a deserted warehouse. At its centre are two Irishmen (Cillian Murphy and Michael Smiley), on a connect with a pair of arms traffickers, Ord (Armie Hammer) and Vernon (Sharlto Copley), but soon wishing they’d given the whole enterprise a wide berth when the bullets start flying. The latest on the live-action Mulan! We had The Jungle Book earlier this year which was a work of art. So, with this in mind, Disney aren’t resting on their laurels as they green lit two more live-action reboots. There will be a new Lion King film in the near future but also a live-action remake of Mulan. Mulan’s production is already in fifth gear as a script (by Lauren Hynek and Elizabeth Martin, with rewrites by Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver) is in place, and a release date has been set for November 2018. However, it is missing a pivotal part to the movie – the director. One thing is for sure though, Ang Lee won’t be at the helm. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Lee was approached by Disney who has lots of experience in in making films both sides of the globe. This seemed a great choice but Ang has turned down the offer, without giving a reason. It’s a shame as his Life of Pi was a triumph. In other news, Disney have also opened casting up to Asia as they would like to stay true to the roots. Well, obviously that is a good thing as it would be a little odd if not! We are looking forward to this one. FIRST LOOK: Amber Heard in Justice League
We've seen several images of the main heroes in Justice League, but thus far Mera, queen of Atlantis (played by Amber Heard), has been more of a mystery. But not anymore, as early yesterday, images of Amber Heard on set were revealed and what a look she has going. Mera is the love interest of Jason Momoa's Aquaman in the comic books so also expect her to make an appearance in the standalone Aquaman film – well she is his wife. Her powers include the ability to control water so that will make epic viewing! Justice League recently wrapped shooting in London, and director Zack Snyder is currently in post-production to get the film ready for its 17th November, 2017 release date. Amber Heard pic
